Comansa Rental is the exclusive retailer in Eastern Canada for Linden-Comansa Flat-Top tower cranes. Thanks to its full range of services, its reliability and capacity to adapt, Comansa Rental can satisfy the needs of its clientele regarding tower cranes. This is why the company is positioned as the leader in the Flat-Top tower cranes industry in Eastern Canada, especially in Québec.

Here are a few major projects where Comansa Rental tower cranes could be found:

  • CHUM: The Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal (University of Montreal Hospital Centre) is the largest francophone hospital center in North America. The construction of this center, in public-private partnership, required the installation of 4 Comansa Rental cranes. One model 21 LC 550 crane, 2 model 21 LC 210 cranes and finally, one model 21 LC 290 crane. On this exceptional worksite, the 21 LC 550 was erected in order to carry out the installation and dismantling of the three other cranes. This innovative technique demonstrates the company's desire to go beyond standards. The Montréal community enjoyed it: instead of suffering the 8 road closures for cranes installation and dimantling, only two closures were required in order to erect and dismantle the 21-LC-550. The latter will take care of the rest in order to avoid constantly disrupting the community. The Comansa Rental team thinks of you! Many telescoping operations are necessary on the cranes for the project's evolution. The external climbing and the internal climbing systems will be used. Once again, the Location Comansa team will put its expertise to work for the achievement of this historic project!
  • Ste-Justine: The Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Ste-Justine (Ste-Justine Hospital center) is another major project. On this project, a 21-LC-400 crane takes care of installing and dismantling a 21-LC-290 and a 21-LC-210 crane, following the same principle as in the CHUM project.
  • CUSM: The construction of the Centre Universitaire de Santé McGill (McGill University Health Center) required 4 model 21-LC-290 cranes and 1 model 21-LC-210 crane. Once more, Comansa Flat-Top cranes demonstrated their efficiency. Due to the great number of cranes present on the project, the use of wireless tower cranes permitted to greatly limit the total height of all cranes levels on the work site, therefore saving on huge installation and dismantling costs. Limiting the overall height of the tower cranes on the project greatly increased the security level, with the greater visibility of the project by the crane operators by being closer to the ground. An average of more than 500 lifting operations per day were executed on the project with the Comansa Rental cranes, without any incidents, because of the tight communication system between the tower cranes, elaborated by Comansa Rental. This communication system was qualified as a finalist to win the “Grands prix SST” of the CSST.
  • Highway 30 – Canal de Soulanges: For the completion of the western section of highway 30 between Candiac and Vaudreuil-Dorion, two Comansa Rental model 21 LC 290 cranes were used. A 90-meter long and 1.5-meter thick tunnel was built on this PPP project, managed by a Spanish consortium, that was proud to see Comansa cranes on their project in Canada.
